Meet your New Employee
Our Employment Specialists will coordinate a meeting between the hiring manager, new employee, and the Individual’s Support Plan Team to update the employee’s Individual Employment Plan to monitor successful job integration. Finalization of employment occurs at this meeting as mandatory employment paperwork is submitted and a start date/schedule is determined. This includes:
State ID
Social Security Card
Tax Documents
Individualized Employment Plan
Employment Contract

Get your new employee trained and supported
Our employment specialist will assist in the development of a comprehensive training plan which includes techniques for employee success. The comprehensive training plan includes.
1.) Inclusion of the employer’s current orientation for new employees
2.) Itemized procedural guide for all job responsibilities listed in the Employment Contract tailored to the employee’s communication style.
3.) On the Job training and shadowing by our employment specialist for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Receive monitoring assistance
Our employment specialists not only connect you to a qualified employee, we also make sure the employee is able to retain their job. This requires employer communication to identify performance improvement areas at which we will accommodate and create a plan for remediation.
Remediation may include:
1.) Assigning a job coach to assist in on-the-job training with the employee
2.) Identifying areas and improvement and determining external resources that may assist in eliminating or reducing the areas of improvement.
3.) Adjusting the employees Individualized Employment Plan.
4.) Adjusting the employees’ contract for employment.
